Membership in GSLA affords members the opportunity to “act locally” and we encourage our members to join one of standing committees, participate in our many field trips, classes and general meetings, as well as to weigh in on environmental issues, and join others in enjoying the birds in Utah.
The recipient will receive our electronic newsletter, The Pelican, as part of their membership. It is published 6 times per year. The Calendar section of this publication lists info about our field trips and other events. We hope they will choose to participate.
Great Salt Lake Audubon is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Tax ID #23-7102723. The amount of the local membership dues minus $10 for the cost of the newsletter, is tax deductible.
