Description

This overview of aspen ecology and management will focus on biodiversity and how aspen gets us there (and how it does not!). From Pando to Pangea, quaking aspen and their sister species encircling the globe can amplify biodiversity, if we play nice with them. Some unique characteristics of this iconic species facilitate many things we humans like, but we may be unaware of the mechanisms behind them.
